Though it was a small project, this project’s small size was made up for with the complexity of performing work in the heart of Hoboken that had heavy foot traffic and an active retail business below the work area. The work required the use of a boom and coordination with Hoboken Police Authority, as well as the retailer and residents.

Once the existing problematic vinyl casement windows were removed, the opening was waterproofed and the installation of (16) custom color and custom designed Heavy Commercial Aluminum Casement Windows was performed on the front and back of the building. These windows had a custom 3-bar locking mechanism to meet local requirements and for ease of use. The openings were not to exceed 4” as per code so the use of proper WOCD devices were critical. The energy efficient Insulbar System completed the window package.
