Peter-Kramer Gymnasium Window Replacement
AAWD was tasked with changing not only the overall appearance of the windows and panel system, but also the function of the existing windows. Our design team went to work with several options. When the final decision was made the school decided to go with an energy efficient window system, that would offer a sleeker more modern look with larger glass sections. By incorporating a 1” insulated glazing system and using Solarban® 70 Solar Control Low-E glass with argon gas, along with an operable lower vent to allow ventilation, we achieved their desired result.
The lower panel section was upgraded to a new Regal Blue color using our waterproof insulatedpanelsystem. The entire frame perimeter was covered in complimentary accent colored brake metal and in less than a week the entire project was completed to the satisfaction of everyone involved.
