So once again, it is with great pride and satisfaction that we have successfully finished another occupied space window replacement project in Rhode Island, Kent Farms Apartment Homes. This project was a combined venture between a well-known General Contractor that we have worked with in the past. Kent Farms is a 250-unit, 8-story mid-rise community, composed of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom garden-style and townhouse apartment homes. In this 250-familycommunity are 139 affordable and 111 market-rate units.
Our installation team enjoyed their time in Rhode Island working in this multifamily community and bringing residents a nicer view and draft free energy efficient new windows. Our portion of the renovation project comprised of the removal of existing windows and installing1,370 Double Hung Windows and Picture window set-upsfrom Crystal Window & Door, utilizingour flange and trim.This installation method is used to eliminate any interior damage to sheetrock or surrounding surfaces as well as damage to the building’s exterior façade.
The GC’s client is a leading property management company with over 30 years of experience in multi-family, assisted living, and mixed-use properties. It was a pleasure to collaborate with the general contractor’s team once again on this project as a small part of their much larger scope renovation effort on this property.
As soon as this project wrapped up, along with our 5-star Google reviews, our installation team headed to the Dolley Madison Apartments in McClean, Virginia for another large, occupied space project, one with over 1,100 sliding 2-Lite and 3-Lite patio doors with decorative sidelites.
